2010 Winter Olympics

Living in the host city for the 2010 Winter Olympics is an interesting experience. The capital, resources both material and human required to pull off a successful Olympic games is a huge undertaking. So far at day five (5) of the games I would give VANOC (“Vancouver Olympic Committee) a sold B+ to an A-. I’ve been to three events and two venus so far. Firstly the Torch Relay on February 10th, two days before the official start, secondly to the LiveCity Yaletown venue at David Lam Park on the night of Saturday February 13, 2010 and thirdly to watch the metal round of the Pairs Freestyle Figure Skating event on February 15, 2009 at the Pacific Coliseum.

I don’t have the time at the moment to give you a full review of each of the events I’ve been at so far but will try to do so on a future posting. For now I’ll leave you with Go Canada Go!!!! 😛
